On the 28 April of 2001 there was  founded a very interesting  international organization “Europen Stork City Organization” ( “ESCO” in abbr.) that  associates European cities and towns which  have symbol of stork in the coat of arms. There are more than 30 towns in Europe who have the  stork in this coats of arms but into our organization 10 of them are consolidated. They are Busk (Ukraine),Stolin (Belorussia), Komarovce (Slovakia), Luka nad Jihlavou (Czech), Storkow (Germany), Staicele and Demene (Latvia), Ramygala and Taujenai ( Lithuania), Kongaz (Moldova, Gagauzia).

The primary goals of ESCO are to develop cooperation among cities of ESCO and to share experience in the area of economic, culture, tourism, education, environmental protection and social problems.

Our organization has a tradition to organize  annual conferences of organization every  year in different  member towns. Conference of year 2006 venue will be the town of Lithuania, Ramygala, 2008 - Moldova, Kongaz(Gagauzia), 2009 - Germany, Storkow.

Ojectives  of  the competition.
To arouse interest of inhabitants of your municipality about member towns of “Europen Stork City Organization”

Task of  the competition.
To answer  10-20 questions of the quiz „What do you know about membet town of ESCO”

Terms of competition:
At the same time in all „stork cities” .

Participants of competition:
Everybody till 18 years, who has got interest to take part in this quiz.    .                                                       

Procedure of evaluation.
The results will be sent by the post to the winners, published in ESCO web-site www.storkcity.org
